Fairbanks 6 @ Kenai River 1 – Six different players scores and Gavin Nieto made 20 saves as the Ice Dogs handed the Brown Bears their 14th straight loss with a 6-1 win. The 1st period was back a forth as Tyler Tomberlin opened the scoring for Fairbanks. Kenai River answered just a minute late with their lone goal from Jack Gessert. Ryner Gorowsky would give the Ice Dogs their lead back with a goal later in the period, which would end up as the game-winner. In the 2nd period, Fairbanks increased the lead to 4-1 with goals from Logan Coomes and Liam Stirtzinger. The Ice Dogs added two more goals in the 3rd period from Clay Cross and Alex Mehnert. Bismarck 4 @ Aberdeen 1 – Hunter Shepard made 36 saves and Jared Resseguie scored twice to lead Bismarck to a 4-1 road win in Aberdeen. Bismarck got out to a fast start, scoring three times in the 1st period to put the game out of reach early. Ressequie scored two goals in the first 14 minutes and Alex Strand added the other 1st period goal to make it 3-0. After a scoreless 2nd period, the Wings got their lone goal from Tyler Bossert late in the 3rd period. Harrison Aide added an empty-net goal for the Wings. Peter Thome made 36 saves in the Wings loss. Boxscore

MN Magicians 1 @ Brookings 4 – Eric Hancock made 31 saves to lead the Brookings Blizzard to a 4-1 home win over the visiting Magicians. The Blizzard got off to a fast start with two, 1st period goals which both came off the stick of Griff Jesszka. The Blizzard tacked on two more goals in the 2nd period to make it 4-0 as Parker Revering and Garrett Elmore scored. The lone Magicians goal came early in the 3rd period as Brady Heppner scored shorthanded. Magicians goalie Drew Hotte took the loss, making 34 saves. Boxscore

Springfield 1 @ Topeka 4 – Tyler Johnson made 25 saves to lead the RoadRunners to a 4-1 home win over the Jr. Blues on Friday. Topeka was bolstered by a strong start, as they scored the first three goals of the game. JB Baker opened the scoring in the 1st period and Dominic Lutz and Luka Maver added 2nd period goals. The Jr. Blues broke through late in the 2nd period with their only goal, which came from Sam Craggs. Luka Maver added his second goal of the game early in the 3rd period to make it a 4-1 final. Jr. Blues goalie Niko Della Maggorie made 36 saves in the loss. Boxscore

Coulee Region 6 @ Austin 2 – The Chill scored three times in the 1st period and never looked back as they picked up a big 6-2 road win in Austin on Friday. The Chill jumped out to a 3-1 lead with 1st period goals from Michael Wilson, Taylor Trapp and Caleb Schroer. The Bruins were able to draw to within 3-2 with goals from Luke Forfar and Austin Rueschhoff, but it was all Chill after that as they scored three straight goals to end the game, with tallies from Isaac Theisen, Dominik Florian and Aussie Miller. Chill goalie Matiss Kivlenieks made 32 saves in the win. Boxscore

Wichita Falls 1 @ Amarillo 4 – Anton Martinsson was spectacular in goal, making 54 saves as the Bulls took down division-leading Wichita Falls, 4-1. The Bulls got off to a fast start with two, 1st period goals from Joey Molinaro and Jacob Nitsche. After a scoreless 2nd period, the Bulls lead increased to 3-0 with a goal midway through the 3rd period from Matt Nehls. The Wildcats finally broke through with a goal late in the 3rd period on the power play from Austin Beaulieu, but Charlie Singerhouse scored on an empty-net to make the final 4-1. Wildcats goalie Justin Kapelmaster made 29 saves in the loss. Boxscore

MN Wilderness 4 @ Janesville 3 – The Wilderness held off a late Jets rally to win on Friday night, 4-3 in Janesville. The came was tight early, with neither team able to score in the opening period. The Wilderness then took control with three goals in the 2nd period from Tyler Cline, Jack Forbort and Mitch Slattery. Nils Rygaard had the lone Jets goal in the 2nd period. The Wilderness lead swelled to 4-1 as Kobe Roth scored midway through the 3rd period. The Jets attempted a comeback with two late 3rd period goals from Martin Sundberg and Adam Winborg, but it wasn’t enough. Wilderness goalie Chase Munroe made 32 saves in the win. Boxscore

New Jersey 5 @ Wilkes-Barre/Scranton 2 – The Titans got off to a fast start and got 44 saves from Spencer Wright in a 5-2 road win against the Knights. New Jersey took a 1-0 lead with a 1st period goal from Jesse Farabee. The lead swelled to 4-0 as the Titans scored three times in the 2nd period, which included goals from Dan Weaver, Andrew Durham and Michael Gelatt. The Knights tried to comeback in the 3rd period with goals from Braden Brown and Stephen Kelly, but it would not be enough as Jake Hamilton added an insurance goal for the Titans to make the final score, 5-2. Johnstown 4 @ Aston 6 – Andrew Bellant had a big night for the Rebels recording two goals and two assists in a 6-4 win. The Rebels offense was very balanced thoughout the game, as they scored twice in each of the three periods. Frank Spellman and Evgeny Yakovlev scored in the 1st period, Bellant and Michael Underwood added 2nd period goals and Drew Blackmun and Bellant scored in the 3rd period. Johnstown got goals from Zak Galambos in the 1st period, Casey Linkenheld and Justin Cmunt in the 2nd period and Luke Lynch in the 3rd period. Darion Hanson made 17 saves for the Rebels to pick up the win. Boxscore
