The New Jersey Titans, proud members of the North American Hockey League (NAHL), are pleased to announce that defenseman Tony DeVito has committed to play NCAA Division III hockey and attend school at SUNY-Cortland beginning in the fall of 2016.

DeVito, 21, completed his first season playing in the NAHL with the Titans and registered four goals and 15 assists for 19 points in 41 games played.

He was also selected to and played in the 2016 NAHL Top Prospects Tournament for the East Division team.

The Bloomingdale, Illinois native finishes his NAHL career with six goals and 17 assists for 23 points in 57 games played.  DeVito (5’10/173) began the season playing for the NAHL’s Minnesota Wilderness.

SUNY Cortland competes in the NCAA Division III SUNYAC and is coached by Joe Cardarelli, who is now in his 3rd season.

DeVito is the seventh NCAA commitment from the 2015-16 roster.

The New Jersey Titans would like to congratulate Tony and his family on this wonderful accomplishment.
