Wings edge Minotauros on Thursday, 3-2

Minot 2 @ Aberdeen 3 – The Aberdeen Wings erased a two-goal deficit in the 3rd period with three goals to come from behind to beat the 1st place Minot Minotauros, 3-2 in the lone NAHL game on Thursday night.
Minot jumped out to a 1-0 lead with a late 1st period goal from Derek Frentz, his 11th of the season.
The lead swelled to 2-0 for Minot as Michael Talbot scored his 8th goal of the season midway through the 2nd period.
Early in the 3rd period Kevin Fitzgerald got the scoring and comeback started for the Wings with a breakaway goal while on the power play. Five minutes later, Riley Murphy was able to get the puck at the hash mark and beat the Minot goaltender Austin Park through the legs, tying the game at 2-2. With less than five minutes remaining in regulation, Carter Roo would score the game-winner, completing the comeback.
Arttu Kulmala picked up the win, making 29 saves, while Park took the loss with 42 saves.
