Magicians defenseman Luedtke makes NCAA DI commitment

The Minnesota Magicians, proud members of the North American Hockey League (NAHL), are pleased to announce that defenseman Josh Luedtke, 17, has committed to play NCAA Division I hockey for Northern Michigan University in the WCHA.
The native of Minnetonka, Minnesota, began the season playing for the Magicians and appeared in two games at the NAHL Showcase. Luedtke (5’8/154) made his NAHL debut against the Lone Star Brahmas on September 22nd. The next night, he also played in the Magicians game against the NTDP 17-Team.
Luedtke will play later this season for Minnetonka High School and has spent the past two seasons playing for the Minnesota Blades 18U and 16U teams. For the past two seasons, the Blades have been regular participants in the NAHL Future Prospects Tournaments.
Luedtke played for the Minnesota Blades 18U team during the first NAPHL event of the season at the NAHL Showcase, where he had four points in four games.
