The Springfield Jr. Blues of the North American Hockey League (NAHL) are pleased to announce that forward Dylan Rauh has committed to play NCAA Division III hockey for Aurora University in Illinois.
Rauh, 21, joined the team right at the trade deadline after starting the season in Topeka, playing 23 games for Springfield during the 2017-18 regular season, giving the team three goals, six assists, for a total of nine points. His entire regular season gives him 61 games played, eight goals, and 13 assists for 21 points.
The 5’8/163 lbs. native of Aurora, Colorado recorded one point in three playoff games.
In a league centered around growth and development, Head Coach Tyler Rennette gets excited when a player commits to a college and will continue to play hockey.
“Dylan has been great for our team since joining us at the deadline. He plays with a lot of energy and is a great role model for the younger players. He will be a great college hockey player and Aurora is lucky to have him next fall,” said Coach Tyler Rennette.
Rauh is the 8th Blues player from the 2017-18 roster who has earned a NCAA commitment
