In the Central Division, the team with the NAHL’s best record, the Austin Bruins, go out of the division this week as they play a home-and-home series against the Chippewa Steel. The Steel are in last place in the Midwest Division and mired in the midst of a 10-game losing streak. Right behind the Bruins in the Central with the league’s 2nd best record is the Aberdeen Wings, who will face the Bismarck Bobcats in a home-and-home series. The Wings enter the series with a 6-0-1 mark in their last seven games. The Minnesota Wilderness will try and snap their two-game slide as they host the Janesville Jets from the Midwest Division. The final series in the Central features the Minot Minotauros on the road to face the Brookings Blizzard.

In the East Division, the 1st place Johnstown Tomahawks look to widen their lead in the East as they put their three-game winning streak on the line as they host the Northeast Generals on Saturday and Sunday. The 2nd place New Jersey Titans will have their hands full this weekend as they host the Maryland Black Bears for two games. The Black Bears sit just two points back of the Titans for 2nd place and have lost just three games in regulation in their last 10 games. The final series has the Jamestown Rebels hosting the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Knights, with the Knights looking to snap a three-game losing streak.

In the Midwest, the division-leading Minnesota Magicians look to build off their 5-1 win on Thursday with two more games in Springfield against the Jr. Blues. The Magicians have a Top 5 defense in the NAHL, allowing just 2.36 goals against per game. Thanks to a five-game winning streak, the Fairbanks Ice Dogs have climbed into 4th place and into playoff position as they put their winning streak on the line this weekend in Kansas against the South Division’s Topeka Pilots. A pair of teams, Kenai River and Janesville, are tied for 2nd place with 17 points. The Brown Bears are in South Texas to take on the Corpus Christi IceRays, while the Jets are in Cloquet, Minnesota to take on the Wilderness. Meanwhile, the Chippewa Steel will have their hands full as they try to snap a 10-game slide against the Austin Bruins.

In the South Division, the Amarillo Bulls will look to hold on to their slim lead in the South Division with a Battle of the Cattle series at Lone Star against the Brahmas. The other South Division series takes place in Odessa as the last place Jackalopes look to snap a three-game losing streak as they host the Shreveport Mudbugs. Outside the division, the Topeka Pilots will have their hands full with a home series against Fairbanks, as the Pilots sit just one point out of 1st place, while the Corpus Christi IceRays will host the Kenai River Brown Bears.
