East Stars: Jamestown Rebels defenseman Caleb Price (above) and New Jersey Titans forward Gavin Gulash (below) led their respective teams to series sweeps this weekend in the East Division.

Austin 2 @ Aberdeen 3 (SO) - The Aberdeen Wings winning streak increased to 18 games as Joe Strada scored the only goal of the shootout to lift the Wings to a 3-2 win over the Austin Bruins. Brad Belisle had two points for Aberdeen and Stepan Pokorny also scored for Aberdeen. Reginald Millette and Dante Sheriff scored the two goals for Austin in regulation. Matt Vernon denied 31 Austin shots and stopped all three shooters in the skills competition. Kyle McClellan was on the unlucky side of the coin as he made 40 stops. 
 
Maryland 2 @ Jamestown 6 - Two goals from Nick Petruolo led the way as the Jamestown Rebels completed the sweep of the Maryland Black Bears by winning on Saturday night by score of 6-2. Niki Jasko, Sam Anzai and Colin Schmidt each had a goal and an assist for the Rebels. Noah West got the win in goal as he made 20 saves. Luke Mountain and Bobby Batten lit the lamp for the Black Bears while Anthony Del Tufo and David Tomeo combined for 33 saves.
 
Wilkes-Barre/Scranton 3 @ New Jersey 5 - Gavin Gulash scored two third period goals and the New Jersey Titans defeated the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Knights 5-3. Bryce Witman, Shane Haviland and Josef Glamos all found the back of the net as well in the victory. Brandon Perrone earned his second win of the weekend by making 32 saves. Jake Fuss had a goal and an assist while Adrian Danchenko and Evan Orr each tallied a goal. Zach Stejskal took the loss in net, he made 40 stops.
 
Topeka 2 @ Shreveport 8 - Offensive fireworks were on display in Shreveport as the Mudbugs routed the Topeka Pilots 8-2. Shreveport was led by Ethan Harrison who logged two goals and an assist while Timothy Clifton and C.J. Regula had a goal and two assists each. CJ McGee, Jay Feiwell, Andrew Jackson and Jacob Skolnik all tickled the twine as well for the Mudbugs. Leo Chuard got a lot of run support but still made 33 saves to grab the victory. Emil Gransoe and McLean Dorr worked together to make 52 saves. 
 
Minot 4 @ Brookings 0 - Two goals from Justin Kelley and two points from David Raisanen helped the Minot Minotauros avoid the sweep at the hands of the Brookings Blizzard as they won the final game of their series 4-0. Nicholas Grabko stopped 26 shots to pick up his third shutout of the season. Nick Strom also found the back of the net for Minot. Jack Caruso was given the loss, he made 26 saves. 

Amarillo 3 @ Corpus Christi 1 - Justin Evenson was magnificent as he made 40 saves to lead the Amarillo Bulls to a 3-1 victory over the Corpus Christi IceRays. Jake Willets tallied a goal and an assist while Jason Brancheau and Ryan Lautenbach also pushed pucks over the goal line. Matthew Headland scored the lone goal for Corpus Christi and Keegan Karki stopped 27 shots. 
 
Bismarck 3 @ MN Wilderness 2 (SO) - It took 15 shooters each but Carl Fish finally pushed the Bismarck Bobcats into the win column with his game winning goal in the shootout. Adam Stacho tied the game up at two with just 1:07 remaining in regulation and Sam Malinski also scored for the Bobcats. John Roberts made 29 saves in the first 65 minutes of play and also stopped 14 of 15 in the skills competition. Brandon McNamara and Jack Johnson scored for the Wilderness while Ryan Fanti made 35 stops. He denied 13 of 15 shooters in the shootout.
 
Janesville 4 @ Springfield 2 - The Janesville Jets earned a series split with the Springfield as they doubled up the Jr. Blues 4-2. Austin Koss, Tommy Middleton, Brenden Olson and Carter Hottmann all lit the lamp for the Jets. Cole Brady made 35 saves to earn his 16th victory of the year. Ben Schmidling and Max Brainin scored for Springfield. Janis Voris turned aside 24 of 28 Janesville shots. 
 
Lone Star 3 @ Odessa 1 - The Lone Star Brahmas got goals from Vilho Saariluoma, Eric Huss and Joey Baez as they split their series with the Odessa Jackalopes. Seth Eisele bounced back after a tough night to make 21 saves and grab the victory. Jared Christy tallied the only goal for Odessa. Alex Camarre was dealt the loss despite making 28 saves.
 
Johnstown 1 @ Northeast 2 - Svet Kuchynski’s two goals and David Fessenden’s 33 saves led the Northeast Generals to a 2-1 win over the first place Johnstown Tomahawks. Joseph Nagle, Gerard Marretta, Liam McCanney and Louis Boudon all had assists for the Generals. Carson Briere scored the only goal for the Tomahawks while Carter McPhail turned aside 39 shots. 

MN Magicians 3 @ Chippewa 2 - John Keranen’s late second period goal stood as the eventual game winner as the Minnesota Magicians outlasted the Chippewa Steel 3-2. Cameron Buhl picked up a pair of points and Valentino Passarelli also scored for Minnesota. Ethan Haider improved his record to 14-7-1 as he made 32 saves. Camden Thiesing and Grisha Gotovets tallied goals for the Steel. Josh Langford was dealt the loss despite making 44 saves.
