April 19, 2019
The Minnesota Magicians of the North American Hockey League (NAHL) are pleased to announce that defenseman Logan Severson has committed to play NCAA Division III hockey for the University of Wisconsin-River Falls.

Severson, 20, is currently in his final season of playing junior hockey in the NAHL. The 6’3/227 lbs. native of Lakeville, Minnesota, played in 48 games during the 2018-19 regular season and recorded eight points. He also has appeared in both Magicians playoff games this season and has recorded one assist.

Severson spent a small portion of the 2017-18 season with the Kenai River Brown Bears.

Prior to playing in the NAHL, Severson spent one season with the Iowa Wild U18 team and prior to that played high school hockey in Minnesota for Lakeville North High.

He is the 10th player on this year’s Magicians roster who has made an NCAA commitment.
