Chippewa defenseman Moulton makes NCAA DI commitment

August 25, 2019
The Chippewa Steel of the North American Hockey League (NAHL) are proud to announce that Top Prospects defenseman Dylan Moulton has committed to play NCAA Division I hockey for Miami University, a member of the National Collegiate Hockey Conference (NCHC).

Moulton, 18, made his junior hockey debut this past season with the Steel. The 6’0/175lbs. native of Nashville, Tennessee, played in 55 games during the 2018-19 season with the Steel. In those games he has recorded 28 points with 5 goals and 23 assists.

Moulton was also selected to and played in the 2019 NAHL Top Prospects Tournament, which is held each February. This past June Moulton was invited to the Nashville Predators week long Development Camp.

“The Chippewa Steel Family is excited for this opportunity for Dylan to continue his hockey journey. Dylan is a great teammate on and off the ice, we couldn’t be more happy for him and his family,” said Steel Head Coach Carter Foguth.

Prior to playing in the NAHL, Moulton played for the Oakland Jr. Grizzlies and TPH Thunder.
