Lone Star forward Daskas makes NCAA D1 commitment

November 12, 2019
The Lone Star Brahmas of the North American Hockey League (NAHL) are pleased to announce that forward Thomas Daskas has committed to play NCAA Division 1 hockey for the Air Force Academy of Atlantic Hockey.

Daskas, 20, joins current Lone Star Brahmas teammate and Air Force commit Sam Brennan as future members of the Falcons hockey team.

Originally a member of the Shreveport Mudbugs last season, Daskas appeared in three games before joining the Brahmas and playing in 41 games with five goals and three assists.

Through 20 games this season, the 6’2, 205 lbs. native of Rochester Hills, Michigan, has blown his stats from last season out of the water. Already, the future Falcon has recorded five goals, three game-winning goals, and 12 assists in 20 games played. The 12 assists this season are second-best on the team and his 17 points are tied for second.

Daskas becomes the 9th player on the Brahmas 2019-20 roster who has made an NCAA Division 1 commitment.
