He is a player that can play in all situations, and takes a lot of pride in his versatility as a player. Riley has taken advantage of his time in Aberdeen to develop into a very good player that will excel at Alaska Fairbanks,” said Wings Head Coach Scott Langer.
“I am honored to announce my commitment to play division 1 hockey at the University of Alaska-Fairbanks Nanooks. I want to thank all the great coaches, teammates, billets, friends and family who have helped me get to this point. #nanooks,” said Murphy on Twitter.
