The Jamestown Rebels of the North American Hockey League (NAHL) are pleased to announce that Top Prospects forward Noah Finstrom has committed to play NCAA Division 1 hockey for the University of Alabama-Huntsville.
Finstrom, 20, just completed his third and final season in the NAHL. The 5’10/174 lbs. native of New Baltimore, Michigan, had his best career season in 2019-20 as he led the team in scoring with 42 points (16 goals, 26 assists) in 54 games played.

“I’m proud to announce my commitment to play Division 1 hockey at the University of Alabama-Huntsville. Thank you to all my family, friends, teammates and coaches who have helped me along the way. #GoChargers,” said Finstrom on Twitter.
“Noah was a great player for us for 2+ years. His commitment level both on and off the ice will allow him to succeed in life. He is one of those guys that developed late, but will keep getting better and better as he continues his career in the NCAA Division 1 level. He was a very hard worker and someone who earned this opportunity. We are happy to see him accept the next chapter in his journey and we wish him nothing but success,” said Rebels head coach Joe Coombs.
Finstrom began his junior career with the Rebels during the 2017-18 season, appearing in 15 games and recording five points during his rookie season. He appeared in one NA3HL game that season, scoring two goals.
In 2018-19, Finstrom posted 29 points in 60 games played. In 129 career NAHL games Finstrom recorded 76 career points.
