Danbury edges Northeast on Tuesday, 2-1

Northeast 1 @ Danbury 2 – In the lone NAHL game on Tuesday, the Danbury Jr. Hat Tricks got 34 saves from goaltender Josh Seeley to post a 2-1 win over the visiting Northeast Generals.
After a scoreless 1st period, the Jr. Hat Tricks took a 1-0 lead thanks to a goal from Matthew Danziner, which was his first career NAHL goal. Later in the 2nd period, the Generals tied the game as defenseman Adam Smith scored his first goal of the season.
Late in the 3rd period, Danbury netted the game-winner off the stick of Luke Wheeler, who scored his 2nd goal of the season.
Northeast Generals goalie Anton Castro played well in the loss, making 34 saves.
The two teams meet again on Wednesday afternoon.
