Janesville defenseman Delaney makes NCAA DI commitment

The Janesville Jets of the North American Hockey League (NAHL) are pleased to announce that defenseman Jacob Delaney has committed to play NCAA Division I hockey for Miami (Ohio) University in the NCHC.

Delaney, 18, made his NAHL and junior hockey debut with the Jets on December 11, 2022, where he recorded a goal and an assist. The 6’1/205 lbs. native of Glen Ellyn, IL, ended up playing five games during the 2022-23 regular season for Janesville.

Delaney was originally drafted by the Minnesota Wilderness in Round 6, #163 overall in the 2022 NAHL Draft.

He has played the past two seasons with the Chicago Fury 18U team.
