Bandits' Brooks decides on Robert Morris

March 13, 2008

The St. Louis Bandits have announced that forward Tom Brooks, 20, has committed to Robert Morris University (CHA) for next season.

“Tom has worked extremely hard during his junior career to get where he’s at today," said Bandits coach-GM Jon Cooper. “It’s great to see his perseverance and dedication pay off with a commitment to Robert Morris. (Colonials) Coach (Derek) Schooley has found a gem in Brooks.”

Brooks, from St. Louis, has eight goals for 15 points after 30 games this season.  He is also a plus-5.

Now in his third NAHL season, Brooks, a NAHL Top Prospects Tournament participant, played the 2005-06 and 2006-07 season with the Texas Tornado.
