Austin Bruins 6 @ Coulee Region Chill 1 – On the strength of a fast start thanks to three, 1st period goals, the Austin Bruins got back on track with a 6-1 road win in Onalaska, Wisconsin against the Chill. The Bruins led 3-0 less than 13 minutes into the game on goals from Dion Austin, Brennan Sanford and a power play goal from Jay Dickman. Tyler Jones made it 4-0 in the 2nd period. The Chill’s lone goal came early in the 3rd period from James McGing, but not before the Bruins would add two more goals, another from Sanford and one from Lucas Kohls. Nick Lehr continued his hot streak in goal making 31 saves in the win. Boxscore

Minot Minotauros 4 @ Bismarck Bobcats 3 (OT) – Tim Donohue continues to make his presence felt since returning to the line-up as they veteran forward scored twice, including the overtime-winning goal and added an assist in a 4-3 road win in Bismarck.  After opening the scoring, the Bobcats took a 2-1 lead on goals from Tony German and Evan Gielser. Minot would answer twice and take a 3-2 lead on goals from Alexander Kasitsyn and Jon Lizotte. Stanislav Dzakhov would tie the game in the 3rd period for Bismarck setting up Donohue’s overtime heroics. Boxscore

Aberdeen Wings 5 @ Brookings Blizzard 4 (OT) – Kyle Haak scored twice, including the game-tying goal with :13 second left and then Jake Horton added the OT winner as the Wings came from behind to defeat the Blizzard, 5-4. Brandon Parker scored twice for the Blizzard in the opening two period to give Brookings a 3-2 lead. Haak and Zach Doerring had the Aberdeen goals. Jared Goudreau and Branislav Rapac scored to increase the Brookings lead to 4-3 after Aberdeen’s Austin Swing had tied the game. Rapac’s goal came with just 1:30 left in regulation, but Haak was able to answer before regulation expired. Boxscore

Janesville Jets 3 @ Springfield Jr. Blues 2 (SO) – Logan Halladay made 45 saves through regulation and overtime and then stopped three of four shooters in the shootout to help the Jets to a 3-2 road win in Springfield. The Jets looked like they were well on their way to a regulation win as they led 2-0 after one period on goals from Robin Hoglund and Michael Louria. Springfield, however, fought back as Max Kalter scored in the 2nd period and Cameron Brown added a 3rd period goal. Louria and Hoglund scored in the shootout along with Jordan Himley. Boxscore

Wichita Falls Wildcats 3 @ Lone Star Brahmas 1 – David Zevnik made 25 saves as the Wildcats pulled out a 3-1 road win in North Richland Hills against the Brahmas. The Wildcats led 2-0 after the 1st period on goals from Colin Staub and Will Vosejpka. That lead held until late in the 3rd period when Jan Hudecek scored his 3rd goal of the season to cut the lead to 2-1. Kyle Bauman added an empty-net insurance goal with just a second to go for the 3-1 win. TJ Black made 28 saves in the loss in front of more than 1,800 fans. Boxscore
