NAHL Showcase just one week away!
September 12, 2018

The 2018 North American Hockey League (NAHL) Showcase is just a week away and will take place from September 19-22, 2018, at the Super Rink in Blaine, Minnesota. All 24 NAHL teams will play regular-season games at the Showcase, which is one of hockey's most prominent and popular events of the entire season.
One of the things the NAHL does better than any other junior league is seeing their players earn an NCAA opportunity while playing in the NAHL. A record number of 331 players made an NCAA commitment during the 2017-18 season, with 70% of those being NCAA Division I commitments. The NAHL Showcase plays a big role in that success, with dozens of players each season earning an NCAA Division I opportunity following their participation in the event.
Scout passes for the 16th annual NAHL Showcase are now on sale.
NOTE: Daily scout passes will be available for $45 and include all of the benefits listed below, however, daily scout passes are only available for purchase at the door during the event.
Scout passes are $125 for the entire event and include the following:
• Credential
• Admission to all games and exclusive scout room
• Event program with rosters
• NAHL scout folder with player information
• Line-up charts
• Food (breakfast, lunch and dinner)
• Beverages (coffee, tea, water, soft drinks)
• Special scout gift from the NAHL
All games at the 2018 NAHL will be broadcast in HD on HockeyTV
In addition to all 24 NAHL teams at the event, the National Team Development Program (NTDP) of the United States Hockey League (USHL) will also be sending their 17-Team for two exhibition games against the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Knights on Friday, September 21st at 8pm and the Northeast Generals on Saturday, September 22nd at 7pm.
The NAHL Showcase attracts over 9,000 people in overall attendance, including more than 330 professional, college and junior scouts. For scouting purposes, the NAHL Showcase is the premier event of its kind and is a yearly gathering for every NCAA program and NHL team as they get their first look at some of the best and brightest hockey talent North America has to offer. It will be the first event of the season for the North American Prospects Hockey League (NAPHL), which will also be played in conjunction with the Showcase. Now entering its 10th anniversary season, the NAPHL is made up of USA Hockey-sanctioned teams that compete in the 18U, 16U and 15U levels.
