Alex Frye scored a pair of goals in a 4-2 win on Thursday.
Jamestown 4 @ Wilkes-Barre/Scranton 2 – Alex Frye notched a pair of goals as the Rebels bombarded the Knights with 53 shots on goal in a 4-2 win in the lone NAHL game on Thursday.
The Rebels seized control early in the game, which included a goal from Frye to open the scoring less than five minutes into the 1st period. Jake Felker added another goal for the Rebels in the opening period to make it 2-0.
The Knights cut into the lead midway through the 2nd period as Sacha Guillemain netted his 5th goal of the season. However, the Rebels would regain their two-goal edge later in the period as Frye scored his 10th goal of the season, in what would be the eventual game-winner.
In the 3rd period, the Knights again would cut the lead to one goal thanks to another tally from Guillemain, but it would not be enough as Augustine Moore added a late empty-net goal to secure the win.
Rebels goalie Noah West made 19 saves in the win, while Knights goalie Zach Stejskal made 49 saves in the loss.
