St. Cloud goalie Bolo makes NCAA DI commitment

St. Cloud goalie Tomas Bolo played in the 2022 NAHL Top Prospects Tournament.
The St. Cloud Norsemen of the North American Hockey League (NAHL) are pleased to announce that Top Prospects goaltender Tomas Bolo has committed to play NCAA Division I hockey for Lake Superior State University in the CCHA.
Bolo, 20, played in his first full junior season in North America for the Norsemen in 2021-22. The 6’2/188 lbs. native of Zilina, Slovakia, was one of the top goalies in the league, helping the Norsemen capture both the Central Division regular season and playoff titles.
During the 2021-22 season, Bolo posted a 29-7-1 record in 37 games played. His 29 wins ranked tied for 2nd in the NAHL and his goals against average of 2.25 ranked him tied for 4th. During the Robertson Cup Playoffs, Bolo posted a 6-2-3 record in 11 games played with a 2.02 goals against average and a .920 save percentage.
Bolo was also selected to and played in the 2022 NAHL Top Prospects Tournament for the NAHL Selects Team, appearing in two games.
Bolo was also chosen to represent his home country of Slovakia at the 2022 IIHF World Junior Championship, which is currently being held in Alberta, Canada.
