Maine defenseman Connor makes NCAA commitment

The Maine Nordiques of the North American Hockey League (NAHL) are pleased to announce that Top Prospects defenseman Matt Connor has committed to play NCAA Division III hockey for Curry College.
Connor, 21, just completed his second and final season of playing junior hockey in the NAHL, which was all spent with the Nordiques.
The 6’3/205 lbs. native of Nottingham, NH, put up a career-high 20 points (5 goals, 15 assists) in 58 regular season games during the 2021-22 season.
He was also selected to and played in the 2022 NAHL Top Prospects Tournament for the East Division team.
During his rookie season in 2020-21, Connor appeared in 51 regular season games and had seven points. During the Nordiques run to the East Division title and appearance in the Robertson Cup Championship, Connor had three points in 10 playoff games.
Prior to playing in the NAHL, Connor played prep school hockey at Lawrence Academy and also for the Cape Cod Whalers 18U team.
