Bismarck defenseman Neumeier makes NCAA DI commitment
The Bismarck Bobcats of the North American Hockey League (NAHL) are pleased to announce that defenseman Michael Neumeier has committed to play NCAA Division I hockey for Colgate University in the ECAC.
Neumeier, 19, got off to a great start for the 2022-23 season as he put up 10 points in seven games during the month of September and was named the NAHL’s Defenseman of the Month.
The 6’3/193 lbs. native of Kerrobert, Saskatchewan, has recorded 11 points in 10 games played to date. His 11 points is currently tied for 2nd among all NAHL defensemen.
“I’m excited to announce my commitment to play Division 1 hockey at Colgate University! I want to thank my teammates, coaches, friends and family and everyone that has supported me along the way!” said Neumeier.
In 68 career NAHL games in the past year and a half, Neumeier has recorded 39 points.
