Blizzard's Franks added to Top Prospects roster

The North American Hockey League (NAHL) has announced that Alexandria Blizzard defenseman Chris Franks will replace Devin Schmitt on the Central Division roster for the upcoming Sherwood/NAHL Top Prospects Tournament.
Schmitt, a defenseman with the Bismarck Bobcats, was injured in a 3-2 overtime loss to the Owatonna Express on Saturday and will be unable to compete at Top Prospects.
After 31 games this season, Franks, a 20-year-old from Apple Valley, Minn., has two goals for 18 points to go along with 50 penalty minutes.
The Top Prospects Tournament is scheduled for January 18-20 at the Ice Cube in Ann Arbor, Mich. For more information on the event, visit NAHLTopProspects.com.
