Minot, New Jersey complete Sunday sweeps

Brookings 1 @ Minot 6 – After an opening goal from the Blizzard, it was all Minot as the Minotauros jumped back into a tie for 1st place in the Central Division with a 6-1 win on Sunday, which completed a weekend home sweep. It took just :25 seconds for the Blizzard to take the lead with a goal from Connor Spetz. However, it was all Blizzard from that point on as Austin Martinsen tied the game late in the 1st period with a power play goal. James LaDouce scored in the 2nd period to make it 2-1. The Minotauros blew the game open in the 3rd period with four more goals, which included tallies from Christian Mohs, Derek Frentz, Jared Brandt and Matt Jennings. Lucas Murray made 22 saves in the win, while Jacob Gwillim made 30 saves in the loss. Boxscore
New Jersey 2 @ Aston 1 – Spencer Wright had another strong game, making 30 saves as the Titans picked up a weekend home-and-home sweep of Rebels with a 2-1 win on Sunday. After a scoreless 1st period, the Titans jumped ahead 1-0 in the 2nd period with an unassisted goal from Anthony Cusaelli. New Jersey made the score 2-0 early in the 3rd period with a goal from Raymond Brice. Late in the 3rd period, the Rebels broke the shutout bid of Wright with a goal from Dom Garcia with 4:46 remaining. Darion Hanson made 13 saves in the loss. Boxscore
