The Johnstown Tomahawks, proud members of the North American Hockey League (NAHL), are pleased to announce that defenseman Logan Hudson has committed to play NCAA Division III hockey at Aurora University. The Spartans compete in the Northern Collegiate Hockey Association (NCHA).
Hudson, 21, spent three seasons with the Tomahawks and earned the role of captain in 2015-16. The native of Mattawan, Michigan, had a career-high nine points in 50 regular season games this past season. He also had one game-winning goal in six playoff games.
In his three-year NAHL career, Hudon (6’1/207) played in 123 career regular season games, recording 14 points and 412 penalty minutes, which is a franchise record.

"Logan was a warrior for our team for three seasons," Tomahawks head coach Mike Letizia said. "His path to our team is one that is very inspirational. He came to camp in 2013 and was just not quite there, then he came back during the season and proved he belonged in Johnstown."
"He showed so much growth over his career and became the captain in his final year," continued Letizia. "I am proud of Logan and he is a great choice for Aurora."
