Maguyon leads Rebels to win on Monday

Aaron Maguyon scored four goals in a 6-1 win on Monday night.
Johnstown 1 @ Philadelphia 6 - Aaron Maguyon scored four goals as the Philadelphia Rebels picked up a 6-1 win on Monday, splitting a series with the Johnstown Tomahawks at the Class of 1923 Arena.
Johnstown set the tone early with a goal from defenseman Carter Dwyer 29 seconds into the first period. Ben Schmidling and Cade Groton assisted on Dwyer's first of the season.
From there, the Rebels would take control. Philadelphia tied the game at 1-1 7:45 of the first period when Aaron Maguyon found the back of the net behind Tomahawks goalie Jack Leavy.
Jonathan Bendorf increased the Philadelphia lead to 2-1 at 12:32 of the period. Then, the Rebels made the score 3-1 two minutes later with a marker from Diarmad Dimurro.
Philadelphia did not wait to increase the Tomahawks deficit as 1:08 into the second period, Maguyon would score his second of the game for a 4-1 Rebels lead.
Maguyon completed the hat trick eight minutes into the second period to give the Rebels a 5-1 lead.
Philadelphia added another goal with Maguyon's fourth of the game in the third period to move the score to 6-1.
Ryan Keane picked up the win in goal for the Rebels, making 19 saves, while Leavy took the loss for the Tomahawks, making 32 saves.
