Johnstown defenseman Toale makes NCAA DI commitment

The Johnstown Tomahawks of the North American Hockey League (NAHL) are pleased to announce that defenseman Hunter Toale has committed to play NCAA Division I hockey at Bentley University beginning in the fall of 2019.
Toale, 19, who is a 6’1/170lbs. native of Coral Springs, Florida, is in his rookie season in the NAHL. Through 28 games, he has scored one goal and added 16 assists. He leads the NAHL among rookies with 13 power play assists. He also ranks in the Top 10 in NAHL scoring for defensemen.
"Hunter has been a strong part of our team in his rookie season," head coach Mike Letizia said. "I am really happy for Hunter on his commitment to Bentley, and we look forward to him continuing to be a major part of our team the rest of the season."
Toale is the fifth player from the Tomahawks 2018-19 roster who has made an NCAA Division I commitment this season.
Located in Waltham, Massachusetts, Bentley University is home to the Division I Falcons, who play in the Atlantic Hockey Association (AHA).
