Shreveport forward Harrison makes NCAA DI commitment

Shreveport forward Ethan Harrison had two point in two games at the 2019 NAHL Top Prospects Tournament.
The Shreveport Mudbugs of the North American Hockey League (NAHL) are pleased to announce that Top Prospects forward Ethan Harrison has committed to play NCAA Division I hockey at Bentley University in Atlantic Hockey.
Harrison, 18, is in his first season of playing junior hockey in the NAHL. The 5’11/170 lbs. native of Plano, Texas, is currently tied for 4th in team scoring this season with 34 points (19 goals, 15 assists) in 55 games played to date.
His 19 goals are tops for the Mudbugs this season.
Harrison was selected to and played in the 2019 NAHL Top Prospects Tournament for the NAHL Selects Blue Team where he recorded two points in two games played.

“Ethan has been on a fast track to development over the past three years. Since we first saw him we were impressed with how many little things he did well. Away from the ice he’s a great character kid that will make a great leader. The Mudbugs family are very appreciated of Ethan’s efforts this year and wish him the best on his journey to the next level,” said Shreveport head coach Jason Campbell.
Prior to playing in the NAHL, Harrison played for both the Dallas Stare Elite and Dallas Penguins
He is the ninth member of the 2018-19 Mudbugs roster who is committed to play NCAA hockey.
