Wilderness top Bruins in overtime on Wednesday

Former Team NAHL forward Nate Horn scored the overtime-winner for the Minnesota Wilderness in a 2-1 win on Wednesday night in Austin.
MN Wilderness 2 @ Austin 1 (OT) – The Minnesota Wilderness came from behind to defeat the Austin Bruins in overtime in the lone NAHL game on Wednesday night. The loss was the Bruins fifth straight, while the Wilderness moved back into a 1st place tie in the Central Division.
After a scoreless 1st period, the Bruins took a 1-0 lead early in the 2nd period with a goal from Hugh Larkin with assists to Ben Almquist and Jaden Shields.
With just over three minutes remaining in the 3rd period, the Wilderness tied the game at 1-1 thanks to a power play goal from Bram Scheerer with assists to Jacob Herter and Blake Holmes.
In the overtime, the Wilderness completed the comeback as former Team NAHL forward Nate Horn potted home a 2 on 1 pass from Kimball Johnson for the game-winner.
Wilderness goalie Jonathan Mor made 29 saves in the win, while Brett Miller made 24 saves in his season debut for the Bruins.
