Titans edge Knights on Wednesday, 5-4

Cade Penney scored the game-winning goal while shorthanded in the 3rd period.
WBS Knights 4 @ New Jersey 5 – Five different players scored for the Titans, which included Cade Penney’s game-winning, shorthanded goal in the 3rd period, as New Jersey edged the nights in the lone NAHL game on Wednesday, 5-4.
New Jersey took a 2-0 lead in the 1st period with goals from Kyle Jeffers and Chris Garbe. The Knights would respond with two goals of their own from Artur Turansky and Johnny Kaljian to tie the game at 2-2.
The 2nd period started like the 1st period did, with the Titans scoring two goals as goals from Mitch Machlitt and Cam Gendron scored to make it 4-2. However, again the Knights would respond with two goals, which included goals from Anthony Mastromonica and another from Kaljian.
In the 3rd period, the Titans would take the lead for good as halfway through the period, Penney would net the game-winner.
Patrick Pugliese made 37 saves in the win, which Alex Contey made 42 saves in the loss.
