Wilderness forward Scheerer makes NCAA D1 commitment

The Minnesota Wilderness of the North American Hockey League (NAHL) are pleased to announce that Top Prospects forward Bram Scheerer has committed to play NCAA Division 1 hockey for Union College.
Scheerer, 20, is in his third and final season of playing junior hockey and second season playing in the NAHL. The 6’3/185 lbs. native of Edina, Minnesota, has appeared in 37 games this season with the Wilderness and recorded 34 points (14 goals, 20 assists).
He was also selected to and played in the 2020 NAHL Top Prospects Tournament for the Central Division team where he had one goal in two games played.
“We are excited for Bram to be continuing his hockey journey and furthering his academics with Union College next season. Bram is a dynamic skater that will be an instead impact to the Union College roster. Union college is getting an outstanding person and outstanding hockey player as his commitment to our organization and this team is a testament to his character and I can’t wait to watch him next season,” said Wilderness head coach Jon Vaillancourt.
Scheerer has appeared in 82 career NAHL regular season games between the Wilderness and Minnesota Magicians, and recorded 55 career points.
