Springfield defenseman Gabriele makes NCAA commitment

The Springfield Jr. Blues, proud members of the North American Hockey League (NAHL), are pleased to announce that defenseman Jeremy Gabriele has committed to play NCAA Division III hockey for Endicott College.
Gabriele, 20, just completed his first season with the Jr. Blues, but his third and final season playing in the NAHL overall. In 53 games played this season, the 5’10/185 lbs. native of Scottsdale, Arizona, scored 3 goals and added 13 assists for 16 points.
He finished his junior career with 89 NAHL games played between the Bismarck Bobcats, Topeka Roadrunners/Pilots, and the Jr. Blues.
“We are proud of the work that Jeremy put in this season,” said Jr. Blues Head Coach Tyler Rennette. “Endicott is getting a hard working player with lots of potential. We wish Jeremy the best of luck next season and beyond.”
Gabriele is the second player this season to commit to an NCAA collegiate program after goaltender Ryan Wilson committed to Army-West Point in November. Overall he is the 6th player to have played for the Jr. Blues this season with a college commitment, joining Caden Villegas (Union), Joe Sharib (Union), Hunter Longhi (Harvard), and Jonathan Panisa (UMass-Amherst).
Endicott College is based in Beverly, Massachusetts and is part of the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC). They are two-time CCC regular season champions and have also won two CCC tournaments.
