The Minnesota Magicians of the North American Hockey League (NAHL) are pleased to announce that Top Prospects forward TJ Sagissor has committed to play NCAA Division III hockey for the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire.
Sagissor, 20, just completed his third season of playing junior hockey and second season overall with the Magicians in the NAHL. The 6’2/180 lbs. native of Stillwater, Minnesota, had his best career season in 2019-20 as he finished 3rd in team scoring with 30 points (12 goals, 18 assists) in 49 games played this season.
He was also selected to and played in the 2020 NAHL Top Prospects Tournament for the Midwest Division team where he had one point in two games played.
Last season, Sagissor split time between the Magicians and the Janesville Jets in the NAHL, appearing in 51 games and recording 14 points. Overall in his NAHL career, Sagissor has played in 100 games and recorded 44 points.
“We are excited for TJ and his next step in his career. He has battled for many years to give himself an opportunity to play four more years of competitive hockey. We wish him luck,” said Magicians head coach AJ Bucchino.
Prior to playing in the NAHL, Sagissor spent one season in the USHL with the Madison Capitols. He played high school hockey in Minnesota for Stillwater High in Minnesota.
