Topeka forward Yeo makes NCAA commitment

The Topeka Pilots of the North American Hockey League (NAHL) are pleased to announce that forward Kyler Yeo has committed to play NCAA Division III hockey for Augsburg University.
Yeo, 21, just completed his third and final season playing in the NAHL. The 6’3/190 lbs. native of Woodbury, Minnesota, was named assistant captain during the 2019-20 season as he recorded 10 points (5 goals, 5 assists) in 46 games played.
“Kyler is a team first, resilient and well-rounded player that worked extremely hard to get his game to where it is today. We are happy for all that he has accomplished as a player in the NAHL and in a Pilots jersey. We are excited for him to further his education at Augsburg,” said Pilots head coach Simon Watson.
Yeo also spent the 2018-19 season with the Pilots, recording 15 points in 55 games played. He made his NAHL debut during the 2017-18 season with the Springfield Jr. Blues. Overall in 127 career NAHL games, Yeo has recorded 27 points.
Prior to playing in the NAHL, Yeo played three seasons of high school hockey for the Hill-Murray School in Minnesota.
