NAHL Weekend Preview

As the month of October comes to a close, the NAHL takes to the ice this weekend with an abbreviated set of five games.
It was another good week for the NAHL, which saw three more NCAA Division 1 commitments this week, bringing the 2020-21 current season total to 125 players who have earned NCAA Division 1 commitments to date.
In the Central Division this weekend, there is just a single game as the Bismarck Bobcats travel to St. Cloud for the Norsemen’s 2020-21 home opener. Both teams are looking for a much-needed win, as the Bobcats are off to a 1-5 start, while the Norsemen are still looking for their first win at 0-4.
In the East Division, the 1st place Maine Nordiques look to keep their hot play going as they put their 6-1 record on the line in a two-game set against the Northeast Generals, who enter the game in 6th place with a 1-4 record.
In the South Division, the Amarillo Bulls make their 2020-21 debut as they host the 1-1 Lone Star Brahmas in a two-game weekend set on Saturday and Sunday.
While the Midwest Division is slated to begin their regular season next weekend, this weekend will feature teams in action as the Minnesota Magicians host the pre-season Midwest Division Jamboree, which includes the Magicians, the Chippewa Steel, Fairbanks Ice Dogs, and Kenai River Brown Bears.
