NAHL Weekend Preview

All NAHL games are broadcast live and in HD on HockeyTV.
The NAHL is back on the ice this weekend, which also sees the debut of the Midwest Division as eight games are on the schedule on Friday and Saturday.
It was another good week for NCAA commitments, which saw more NAHL players announce their NCAA Division 1 plans. To date, a total of 132 players have made NCAA Division 1 commitments in the 2020-21 season.
East Division play got started early this weekend as the Danbury Jr. Hat Tricks beat the Northeast Generals, 4-2 on Thursday to improve their record to 5-1. The only East Division action the remainder of the weekend has the Generals visiting the New Jersey Titans, with both clubs looking to snap small losing skids.
In the Midwest Division, play is finally underway as the Janesville Jets defeated the Fairbanks Ice Dogs on Thursday, 6-4. The two clubs conclude their series on Friday in Janesville. The Kenai River Brown Bears and Chippewa Steel open their respective 2020-21 regular seasons in Chippewa with a game on Friday.
In the South Division, it is a busy slate as the Shreveport Mudbugs begin their 2020-21 season with a visit to Wichita Falls to take on the Warriors. The other series has the Odessa Jackalopes looking to continue their hot start as they host the Amarillo Bulls for a two-game set.
