St. Cloud forward Chorske makes NCAA DI commitment

The St. Cloud Norsemen of the North American Hockey League (NAHL) have announced that forward Brett Chorske has committed to play NCAA Division I Hockey at Colorado College in the NCHC.
Chorske, 19, who is a 6’6/195 lbs. native of Edina, MN, commits to Colorado College amid his first season with the Norsemen and second in junior hockey.
“I chose Colorado College because of the great academics and the hockey program that will have a brand-new arena this fall,” said Chorske. “I’ve built a great relationship with the coaches and can’t wait to get to campus.”
Chorske has enjoyed a strong start to the 2020-21 season, amassing seven points through 15 games with three of those coming in the form of goals.
“It’s an awesome day for Brett,” exclaimed Head Coach Corey Millen. “The culmination of many years of work is being rewarded with a commitment to a very good school and hockey program.”
Prior to playing junior hockey, Chorske played high school hockey in Minnesota for the Edina Hornets, helping the team to a Class AA State Championship in 2019.
