Jamestown and New Jersey win on Wednesday

New Jersey forward Blake Farrell had the game-winning goal on Wednesday night in a 5-2 win.
Johnstown 1 @ Jamestown 4 – Thanks to another strong game from goalie Nolan Suggs, the Jamestown Rebels moved back into a tie for the 4th and final playoff spot in the East with a 4-1 home win over Johnstown on Wednesday. After a scoreless 1st period, Johnstown was first to get on the board in the 2nd period as Jake Black scored his 35th goal of the season to tie for the NAHL lead. After that, it was all Rebels as John Lundy tied the game at 1-1 later in the period. In the 3rd period, the Rebels put the game on ice with three more goals from Jak Vaarwerk, Max Hamstad, and Reid Lune. Suggs made 40 saves in the win, while Matthew O’Donnell made 34 saves in the loss.
New Jersey 5 @ Danbury 2 – Five different players scored for the Titans as they moved close to clinching a playoff spot thanks to a 5-2 road win in Danbury on Wednesday. The Jr. Hat Tricks were first on the board in the opening period as a goal from Gabe Dombrowski gave them a 1-0 lead. However, the Titans turned the tables and blew the game open in the 2nd period with four goals from Rocco Testa-Basi, Billy Feczko, Blake Farrell, and Eric Charpentier. Early in the 3rd period, a goal from Owen Luik made it a 5-1 game in favor of the Titans. Boris Skalos would scored the other Danbury goal later in the 3rd period. Ben Charette made 16 saves in the win, while Connor McDonough made 39 saves in the loss.
