Corpus Christi defenseman Foglia makes NCAA DI commitment

The Corpus Christi IceRays of the North American Hockey League (NAHL) are pleased to announce that defenseman Dominic Foglia has committed to play NCAA Division I hockey for Colgate University in the ECAC.
Foglia, 20, is in his second season playing in the NAHL for the IceRays. The 6’1/190 lbs. native of Tinton Falls, NJ, currently leads the IceRays in scoring so far during the 2022-23 season with seven points (3 goals, 4 assists) in seven games played.
“Proud to announce my commitment to continue my career at Colgate University. I’d like to thank my dad for all the sacrifices he’s made to get me to this point. I wouldn’t be here without him as my biggest fan and supporter. Thanks Pops,” said Foglia.
During the 2021-22 season, Foglia appeared in 55 regular season games for the IceRays and put up 20 points (5 goals, 15 assists), which was 2nd among team defensemen.
Prior to playing in the NAHL, Foglia spent four seasons with the Shattuck-St. Mary’s Prep, 16U, and 14U teams.
