Corpus Christi forward Ulvebne makes NCAA DI commitment
The Corpus Christi IceRays of the North American Hockey League (NAHL) are pleased to announce that forward Hans Martin Ulvebne has committed to play NCAA Division I hockey for Bemidji State University in the CCHA.
Ulvebne, 18, is in his first full season of playing junior hockey in the NAHL. The 6’0/183 lbs. native of Oslo, Norway, is currently leading the IceRays in scoring so far during the 2022-23 season with 27 points (8 goals, 19 assists) in 32 games played.
“I am extremely proud and honored to announce my commitment to play d1 hockey at Bemidji State University! I’d like to thank my family, friends, teammates, coaches and everyone else who has helped me along the way,” said Ulvebne on social media.
Prior to playing in the NAHL, Ulvebne played two seasons for the Bishop Kearney Selects 18U and 16U teams. He made his NAHL debut with the IceRays on February 25, 2022.
