Ice Wolves and Generals win on Sunday
Jacob Wilson had three points in a 4-1 win on Sunday.
New Mexico 6 @ El Paso 0 - Will Howard notched a four point night as the New Mexico Ice Wolves blanked the El Paso Rhinos 6-0. Howard had a goal and three assists to lead the way offensively. Ryan Johnson potted a pair of goals and picked up an assist of his own. Jack Dalton, Dillon Kuntz and Alfred Lindberg all lit the lamp in the win for the Ice Wolves. William Craig was perfect in goal as he needed just 17 saves to log his first NAHL shutout. Nolan Suggs was dealt the loss as he made 32 saves.
Danbury 1 @ Northeast 4 - Frank D’Ancona and Jacob Wilson each tallied three points as the Northeast Generals defeated the Danbury Jr. Hat Tricks by a score of 4-1. D’Ancona scored two goals and added an assist while Wilson scored once and had two helpers. Ryan Schelling notched his 10th goal of the season for the Generals in the victory. Chase Sandhu registered all the offense for Danbury with a power play goal in the second period. Toby Hopp picked up the win in goal as he made 19 stops. Karlis Mezsargs turned aside 37 shots.
