Janesville defenseman Lieberman makes NCAA DI commitment

The Janesville Jets of the North American Hockey League (NAHL) are pleased to announce that Top Prospects defenseman Charlie Lieberman has committed to play NCAA Division I hockey for the University of Massachusetts in Hockey East.
Lieberman, 19, is currently in his first full season playing in the NAHL for the Jets. The 6’5/220 lbs. native of Naperville, IL, has appeared in 52 regular season games to date so far during the 2022-23 season and has recorded 11 points.
“I am proud to announce my commitment to play Division 1 college hockey for the University of Massachusetts Amherst. I am thankful for my family, coaches, and friends who have helped and supported me along the way!” stated Lieberman.
Lieberman was recently selected to and played in the 2023 NAHL Top Prospects Tournament, where he had one point in two contests.
Lieberman made his NAHL debut on May 16, 2021 with the Jets, where he also recorded his first point. During the 2021-22 season, he had two points in nine games with the Jets.
Prior to playing in Janesville, Lieberman played for the Selects Academy, Team Illinois, and the Chicago Fury.
