North Iowa forward Bisson makes NCAA commitment
The North Iowa Bulls of the North American Hockey League (NAHL) are pleased to announce that forward Jackson Bisson has committed to play NCAA Division III hockey for St. John’s University in the MIAC.
Bisson, 20, just completed his second full season playing in the NAHL. The 5’11/185 lbs. native of Edina, MN, joined the Bulls in late January after a trade from the Chippewa Steel. While with North Iowa, Bisson put up 13 points in 26 games played. Overall in 58 games during the 2022-23 regular season, Bisson recorded 23 points between the two clubs.
Bisson made his NAHL debut with the St. Cloud Norsemen on April 22, 2021, and appeared in five games at the end of the 2020-21 regular season.
During the 2021-22 season, he played in 23 games for the Norsemen and recorded five points. At the trade deadline, he was dealt to Chippewa where he finished the season with five points in 14 games played for the Steel.
Overall, Bisson has appeared in 100 career NAHL regular season games and recorded 33 points.
