Hartley, a NAHL Top Prospects participant in 2022, had many people to thank. "I’d like to thank the North Iowa Bulls organization, teammates, coaches, staff, his billet family, and the North Iowa community for making the last two years the best of his hockey life. Junior hockey has prepared me physically and mentally to be ready for the next step of being a college hockey player," said Hartley.
"Byron is a goal scorer who has the ability to be a game changer on a nightly basis. He is also a great leader and locker room and team guy,” said former head coach Todd Sanden.
Hartley is the second Bull to commit to St. Norbert's this season, joining Logan Dombrowsky as a Green Knight.
