The Maine Nordiques have named Ryan Shelley associate head coach. Shelley brings not only a great hockey background when it comes to overall team performance, but as well as goaltending. Shelley brings in a diverse background; consisting of experience in the NCAA, NAHL, NA3HL and NAPHL. Shelley joined the organization in the 2019-2020 season in the NA3HL. Shelly then served as an Assistant Coach for the 18U team, was an analyst on Hockey TV during intermissions, and was the teams video coach. Shelley was also a backup goaltender to NHL’s Jimmie Howard and Ben Bishop at the University of Maine. Shelley also suited up for the Framingham State Ram’s for seven games in the 2008-2009 season. Shelley’s experience with hockey, college, and goaltending development will play a key factor in leading the organization to the Robertson Cup Championship.
The Maine Nordiques would also like to welcome back Kyle Warren as an Assistant Coach for the NAHL team. Kyle Warren has been with the Organization since its inception and has helped the organization in the 18U, 16U, and NAHL squads.
