Aberdeen forward Contessa makes NCAA commitment

The Aberdeen Wings, proud members of the North American Hockey League (NAHL), are pleased to announce that forward Kyle Contessa has committed to play NCAA Division III hockey for Chatham University.
Contessa, 21, is a 6’2/176 lbs. forward from Freehold, NJ. In his only season with the Wings in 2022-23, he played in 58 games and put up 12 goals and 18 assists for 30 points.
“Kyle was a solid addition to this year’s team. He was a physical presence that added scoring to our line up,” said Wings Head Coach & GM Scott Langer.
Chatham University is located in Pittsburgh, PA. The Cougars play NCAA Division III Hockey out of the United Collegiate Hockey Conference. They finished the 2022-23 season with a 14-9-3 overall record and a 11-6-3 conference record.
