Kenai River defenseman Anderson makes NCAA commitment

The Kenai River Brown Bears of the North American Hockey League (NAHL) are pleased to announce that defenseman Jack Anderson has committed to play NCAA Division III hockey for Gustavus Adolphus College.

Anderson, 21, just finished his first and final season playing in the NAHL. The 6’2/185 lbs. native of Orono, MN, played in 57 regular season games during the 2022-23 season and recorded 19 points (3 goals, 16 assists).

Prior to playing in the NAHL, Anderson spent two seasons playing high school hockey in Minnesota for Orono High School.

He also played in the NAPHL for the Minnesota Magicians 18U team during the 2019-20 season, recording two points in five games played.
