Shreveport forward Gotinsky makes NCAA commitment
The Shreveport Mudbugs of the North American Hockey League (NAHL) are pleased to announce that Top Prospects forward Logan Gotinsky has committed to play NCAA Division III hockey for Hobart College.
Gotinsky, 21, just completed his third and final season playing in the NAHL for the Mudbugs. The 6’1/174 lbs. native of Macomb, MI, had his best career season in 2022-23, recording 34 points (14 goals, 20 assists) in 58 games played. He also recorded four points in eight Robertson Cup Playoff games.
Gotinsky was also selected to and played in the 2023 NAHL Top Prospects Tournament for the South Division team.
During the 2021-22 season, he appeared in 46 regular season games and recorded 19 points (10 goals, 9 assists).
In his rookie season in 2020-21, he posted two points in 15 games played.
Prior to playing in the NAHL, Gotinsky played high school hockey in Michigan for the Detroit Country Day School and also played two seasons in the NAPHL’s Fall League for Michigan Hockey Advancement.
