Maine forward Rothstein makes NCAA commitment
The Maine Nordiques of the North American Hockey League (NAHL) are pleased to announce that forward Blake Rothstein has committed to play NCAA Division III hockey for Curry College.
Rothstein, 21, has spent the last for seasons playing in the NAHL or NA3HL. The 6’0/185 lbs. native of Massapequa, NY, appeared in 20 regular season games for the Nordiques during the 2022-23 campaign and recorded six points.
“Next 4 (years)… would not be possible without God, my mom, dad, brother, coaches, teammates and friends!” said Rothstein.
During the 2021-22 season, Rothstein appeared in four games with the NAHL’s Lone Star Brahmas and 20 games with the NA3HL’s Texas Brahmas, totaling 30 points.
He made his junior hockey debut with the Texas Brahmas in the NA3HL during the 2019-20 season recording 22 points in 44 games. During the 2020-21 season he had 39 points in 40 NA3HL games and also had eight points in seven Fraser Cup Playoff games.
In 107 career NA3HL games, he recorded 91 points and in 26 career NAHL games he had six points.
