Former Janesville Jets forward Cy LeClerc was named the Hockey East Player of the Week.

Atlantic Hockey Player of the Week: Joey Baez, F, Army West Point (Lone Star/Johnstown) - Army West Point junior Joey Baez lit the lamp three times over the weekend in the Black Knights’ home split with Canisius. The Tampa, Fla., native scored twice, including once on the power-play, in Friday’s series opener then netted the third-period game-winner in Saturday’s 2-1 victory over the Griffs. His weekend totals also included nine shots on goal and a blocked shot. This is his second career Atlantic Hockey weekly honor.

Atlantic Hockey Defensive Player of the Week: Alex Murray, Niagara (Lone Star/St. Cloud/Janesville/Amarillo) - Niagara junior Alex Murray had three assists in the Purple Eagles’ weekend sweep of Robert Morris. The Glenview, Ill., native assisted on a pair of scores, including the game-winner, on Friday before adding a third assist, which also came on the game-winning goal, on Saturday. Murray finished the series with a +4 rating, six shots on goal and two blocked shots as he helped limit RMU to just 49 shots on goal in the series. This is his first career CHA weekly honor.

CCHA Forward of the Week: Jared Westcott, Lake Superior State (Lone Star Brahmas) - Westcott led all CCHA skaters in goals (3), assists (3) and points (6) last weekend, helping the Lakers to a split with Bowling Green. Compiling a +2 in the two contests, he was second in the league with 10 shots on goal. On Friday, he recorded a goal and two assists in a 5-3 loss to the Falcons, before scoring two goals, including the overtime winner, with one assist in a 4-3 victory on Saturday.

CCHA Defenseman of the Week: Kyle Looft, Bemidji State (Austin Bruins) - Looft paced all conference defensemen in assists (3) and points (3) last week, helping the Beavers to a split at Minnesota State. He also recorded seven shots on goal and two blocks at the defensive end, with a +1 rating. His weekend was highlighted by recording three helpers in a 7-6 come-from-behind victory on Saturday night, including assists on Bemidji State’s first two tallies and the game-tying marker in the third period.

CCHA Goalie of the Week: Charlie Glockner, Northern Michigan (Amarillo Bulls) - Glockner went 2-0-0 with a 1.00 goals-against average and a .967 save percentage last week, aiding the Wildcats in a home sweep of Alaska. Turning away 59-of-61 shots overall, he was perfect on 16 shots while Northern Michigan was shorthanded, leading the penalty kill to an 8-for-8 weekend. On Friday, he made 28 saves in a 3-1 victory, before stopping 31 on Saturday, coming up just 51 seconds from his first collegiate shutout.

ECAC Rookie of the Week: Arthur Smith, G, Princeton (Lone Star Brahmas) - Arthur Smith (Fr., Princeton) earns the well-deserved title of Rookie of the Week for his commendable performance at the backstop for the Tigers in a thrilling overtime win against nationally-ranked Cornell. In his second career start, Smith made 36 saves in the 2-1 win on Saturday night at Hobey Baker Arena, posting a 1.32 goals-against average and a .957 save percentage.

Hockey East Player of the Week: Cy LeClerc, F, New Hampshire (Janesville Jets) - Cy LeClerc (So., F; Brentwood, N.H.) posted two goals and two assists for four points as No. 13 UNH went 2-0-0 against North- eastern. He recorded two goals and one assist for three points, including shorthanded goal and the game-winner, in Friday’s 4-2 win, while he then tallied an assist on the game-winner in a 4-0 win on Saturday.
