Lone Star forward Kerr makes NCAA DI commitment

The Lone Star Brahmas of the North American Hockey League (NAHL) are pleased to announce that forward and NAPHL alum Justin Kerr has committed to play NCAA Division I hockey for Bowling Green State University in the CCHA.
Kerr, 19, is currently in his first season of playing junior hockey for the Brahmas in the NAHL. The 6’3/185 lbs native of Grand Rapids, MN, is currently third in team scoring so far during the 2023-24 season with 29 points (12 goals, 17 assists) in 34 games played to date.
“I’m extremely proud and honored to announce my commitment to play Division 1 hockey and further my education at Bowling Green State University. I would like to thank my parents, coaches, teammates and everyone who has helped me along the way. Go Falcons!!” stated Kerr.
Prior to playing for Lone Star in the NAHL, Kerr played the 2022-23 season in the NAPHL’s T1ER League for the CarShield AAA organization, appearing in 14 T1ER games and recorded 16 points. In 46 games played overall with CarShield, Kerr recorded 52 points.
Prior to playing for CarShield in the NAPHL T1ER League, Kerr spent three seasons playing high school hockey in Minnesota for Grand Rapids High.
He is the fifth member of the 2023-24 Brahmas roster who is committed to play NCAA Division I hockey.
